I should point out that this is a joke. Or dave will post his snow trampoline pic again - which is far far worse than jvpp and his short shorts :(
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

On the subject of importing gear tho', it's not always cheaper, especially with the exchange rate the way it is currently, and RS etc with stock at old purchase prices, theres certain things I'd not feel comfortable importing either.... bring on the snow pics.

If you want to buy a Gibson LP '59 or similar, you are up for $7,000 plus. Buy a return airfare to LA for $800. This offsets the GST. When you bring it back in with luggage, my experience is that you won't get hit for GST. You won't pay $200US in shipping either. In LA there are loads of these guitars, not like the random often boring examples imported by the Rockshop. And for those of you who believe that you can hear the difference between guitars, you get to try out the guitar. You need to pay $40 a day for a hire car and $40 a night for a hotel. Food, gas and phone calls are cheap. And you get a cool trip to LA.
In life, don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.

Let me rephrase, I want that Gretschy one AS WELL. With me and guitars it is not A OR B, but A AND B. I think you have seen the evidence.
