Not sure if its on there, but I noticed Tech 21 have come out with a bass flyrig. It has a built in tuner, XLR out and you can choose if you want the boost pre or post distortion. Would be great if they updated the RK5's with the same features as they are exactly what I've been wanting!

The only other preference I have is maybe a more durable power supply, but I can live without that.

Wonder if they'll do an fx only flyrig.

At least they are listening to their customers. I still want a Fly Rig, but until it's got a tuner and DI in it, it's not a one box solution for me . . .

Tuner would be cool, but do you play at places with no DI's?

I've played at plenty of places with crap DOD and ART DI's . . . Also I own 5 good ones, (radial and LR Baggs) but it's more the inconvenience of the whole thing. I love the idea of the FlyRig, but if I have to carry a tuner and DI I might as well just use my pedalboard.

I agree 100%. I really like the flyrig but I have it on a board with a nice DI and tuner and another delay for dotted eighths - (recovering church player). If they could do that it would be almost perfect. Almost perfect because a headphone preamp would perfect it for practice too. EDIT: I see the bass version has a button to convert the 1/4” output into headphone mode.

Only a matter of time if they have done that to the Bass one.

They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Yeah I reckon we'll see the FlyRig II.

Am I the ONLY one who clicked purely to see Lightning Wave's writeup? :)

Yeah it really needs subdivisions in general. It's not just the church guys, a lot of rhythmic delays (which are the ones where TT is useful) are not quarters.

Awesome list! I have been out of the online guitar world for a couple of months and have missed a bunch of announcements. So this is a good way to catch up.

Most excited by:

Ditto X4
AmpTweaker Jrs (wonder if "Fat" versions are on the way?)
Ibanez Analod Delay Mini
Neu Neunaber verbs!
