About to order one of these new for $91 USD.
Purpose 1: Not forget the quirky timing of that riff I just wrote
Purpose 2: Improvise a little lead over that riff I just wrote
Unless... someone tells me they're crap?
Or... someone has one they desperately want to get rid of for say, $120?

Such a classic EHX tactic - introduce a powerful feature in a way that makes it kinda weird and less than useful as a feature.
LIke 11 different loops, that's awesome. Accessed by rotating a knob? LOL. Imagine if you could change the loops with a footswitch.

You need to get up to something the size of a Jamman Stereo before you get loop up/down footswitching.sirvill wrote:Such a classic EHX tactic - introduce a powerful feature in a way that makes it kinda weird and less than useful as a feature.

It's built to a price point, like the ditto and RC-1, simple thing for people to muck about with

Re: EHX Nano 360 Looper
Not really much of an issue for me. I'd be using it as a convenience (laziness) when preparing something new in advance for rehearsal. I *could* fire up the tascam and record it and hook up the headphone out to an amp with a line in and then play along.sirvill wrote:Imagine if you could change the loops with a footswitch
That's probably what I should do.
But turning a dial and pressing a switch instead is a tempting proposition.
