the Hammet LTD
yes please
yes please
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

In all honesty, you don't even need to change the pickups. That V52 is a LEGIT guitar. The pickups sound great.
Trev Wilkinson told me they are made to the same spec as the 1950's Fender pickups......just made in china using newer machines,.

After doing some work on my Sons LTD I`m keen on getting one. The stock pick ups sound good surprisingly.

Neck on the V2 is a little slimmer. It might have different tuning machines from memory.sirvill wrote:NZRS_Matt wrote: In all honesty, you don't even need to change the pickups. That V52 is a LEGIT guitar. The pickups sound great.

Also, for some reason, the V52's tend to come with a great setup out the box. The V2 may need some work.

Re: Massive clearance sale at Rockshop
Quite like the look of these for a cheap P90 machine:

There's a white one in the Tron RS. Played it and it seemed nice and resonant. Neck could be a bit fatter, but I could probably live with it. Keen to try the Satin Cherry one; the white is a gloss finish.

phew - my wallet is safe. The only thing I had my eye on (baja tele in sonic blue) has gone up in price! Might have to consider the vintage then...
