Ooooh DM-3 Plus eh, might have to give that a crack!!!MogwaiBoy wrote:I hear you, Jeremy! (me too!)
The EP-3 'Toneprint' has nothing on the Catalinbread Belle Epoch, likewise the Echorec mode on the Alter Ego 2 has nothing on the Catalinbread Echorec - but those are pedals fully dedicated to one purpose. But I totally rate TC. I've made my own tape Toneprint that's far less warbly and soupy dark as the PGS EP-3 one, and it's just awesome as a "goto".
I put the "DM-3 Plus" on my Flashback Mini - holy crap is it good.
Been very keen to try to Tech21 Boost DLA. Do Rockshop stock 'em?

I like the ones where you play a note and then that note plays a couple more times after you've finished playing it. Those are my favourite ones.

haha, if it's a nice enough delay with a tap and a cool decay sound then i could possibly swap it out.KentNZ wrote:Ahh you don't need that green Vox one.SimpleSi wrote:How dare you Strymon!!

I use my timeline for the trippy as delay's and the vox is a simple delay with a tap. only reason it's still on there.

Re: New Strymon on the way soon.
I used the Boost DLA until I traded it for a looper. It's a great delay, and the fact you can alter the delay tone and add flutter (modulation) are great features. Just be aware if you're after dotted eighths this one won't do them. You can get a great sound with the tone rolled off, and a bit of flutter on a medium delay setting, barely their for fast attack notes, but adds a modulation/dimension to longer chords.MogwaiBoy wrote:.

They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Re: New Strymon on the way soon.
Sounds nice I guess, but yeah it's nothing the Timeline can't already do. Didn't watch all of it but was hoping for a bit more than that.
Loving it so far

Re: New Strymon on the way soon.
If you're up against a Timeline, then fair point. But if you're just after a real-time, single delay - it's a serious contender. It might have put me off the timeline if I'd seen it before I'd bought it... though, lo fi and shimmer and the low octave stuff in the timeline... mmmmm. Nice.
