The whole place is one big warm snazzy cuddle up to the past. Even the 80s is barely represented, though they were playing Phil-era Genesis in the shop today.

Those Analogue Outfitters amps are beyond cool, love the use of old test equipment cases. Probably nowhere near my tastes sonically, but when they look that good, I don't think I'd care.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Yeah I've started bringing home junk whenever the missus is at a salvos or recycling centre, any cheap old cool looking electronic equipment that looks broken, especially if it looks 70's or older I'll grab. Slowly amassing a pile of crap that one day I'm gonna start turning into cool little valve things.

Stick a Metal Zone in front and you're off...

More seriously, I've had great results getting the heavy out of very unmetal gear using the Bogner red.

These are more the kind of amp I wouldn't try and turn them into what they aren't, but try and do something with what they are.

Plus one of the best live guitar tones I've heard for the kind of music I'm into was a mate using a /13 of some description in his death metal band, without any pedals in front of it. That was a pretty unmetal amp when I played through it in the guitar shop, but yet it worked incredibly well live.
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.
