Cool - thanks for the link.

I was trying to explain to a mate of mine about 'thegrooveking' myth thingy, that link should help.

Shall we start up the age-old question and put forward our theories on who he actually is?

From what I've read and seen, I think the following:
- He is obviously a pro-muso.
- Possibly not even a muso, maybe a techie?
- Possibly Don Dokken?

I doubt he is a pro muso. They tend to know what sound they want and how to get it out of a minimun of gear. They also don't get sentimental about things and keep them. To them, apart from a few favourites, the gear is just tools.

Mmmm, last time we talked about him, someone posted a link to another forum where they had pages and pages of him. I read through it all, and he said that he was the retired CEO of a medium sized company, and although he had a heap of stuff, when you add it all up it really only comes to the price of a Porche. Just a rich guy with a cool hobby.

I was intrigued to figure out what sort of music - for example there is no Jazz and only one accoustic - the Gibsons would be OK for rock blues and the Jacksons for shred etc as would be the Fenders (rock-shred-blues).

But no Ricky 360/12 or similar (only a danelectro) no classic and (horror of horrors) no accoustic 12 string.

These omissions plus the pedals/amps indicate rock/shred/metal - do you concurr O fellow musos??
You can't do THAT on stage!
