Has anybody had any experience with the line 6 guitar port? Any good for recording/playing though a PC?

never tried one but it has an excellent reputation. I have a POD which is more expensive but does pretty much the same job only with more amp styles etc...
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Looks interesting - a lot cheaper than the Pod XT. One of the best uses for it (as a learning tool) requires subscription. Without that, it's basically just cut-down POD. In fact, I believe the POD XT now can do everything the GuitarPort can do - the software has been made freely available for access to the subsciption-based online component.
