Over the last couple of weeks i have suffered from the most acute sense of GAS ver.
I had the luck of getting $1000 from the government for 'course related costs' and then and inheritane from my institution bund grandparents.
My rational was 'what better to spend it on than guitar gear!!!!?!!?!!!!'
So, a old 70s P.A an impulse Cort solid top Jumbo Acoustic to copete with my flatmate's Martin and the creme de la creme, a 1998 Vox AC30 TB/6 with Celestion Blues. My dream come true i can finally wollow in horribly self righteous smugness. I own the best amp ever made.
I love the GAS, it chews my money before i can do anythign sensible with it. Ace.
Gas like a MF.

Right on PB - way to go man! The only things I've ever truly regretted were the ones I did not buy (apart from a certain lady many years ago) and there is allways plenty of time later on (if there is not - then it does not matter anyway) to be 'prudent'.
You can tell the 'sensible' people any day - they've rarely felt the roar of the VOX or whatever beneath the fingers and any that did forgot long ago! Reminds me of the song line 'Nothing but the dead and they dying back in my little town'
Rock on Bro and enjoy- you can't stop the music!

Not a chance, the PA and deposit on the came from the $1000, as did a power soak for the AC30 and parts for a guitar I'm building.TMG 03 wrote:Good score. What are those Cort Guitars like ? there seems to be more around these days.
You did well to get all that gear for only 1000 ?
The AC30 came from me getting an inheritance from my Grandparents who are both in homes. I spent it wisely.
The Cort is absoultely amazing. It has flamed maple sides and back and a solid spruce top, it's jumbo and it really sings!
