Mastery bridges are horrendously expensive, mustang saddles are not, and are still a great solution.Frey wrote:Yeah he kept putting on weird $46 bids and shit. I'm happy. That's about what you pay for one of these these days I guess.
I'll probably be going mastery bridge at some point. And Antiquities.

What sort of jazzmaster is it ? Jap Mex or usa ? Nice looking guitar.
Did it shrink in the wash or is that just a massive case ?
Mastery hardware is very good. But spendy.
I like mustang bridges. They get you 95% of the way there and cost 10% of the price

[/img]Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

Yes, it costs a lot and I have no idea yet whether it's worth it, but I've been dreaming of this guitar so long I want to do everything lol. Got some antiquity II's on the way too.
Well fingers crossed it has a neck to your liking. I like Japanese fenders a lot but they have a weird tendency to produce jazzmasters with an odd squashed u neck that really doesn't suit a jazzmaster. You recall bens white Japanese jm about a year back. ...beautiful guitar but did not have the profile neck you'd expect. Same went for my red Japanese jag .
Having said that I played one in Japan that had a neck pretty much the same as an Americ jm. Nice medium c .
There doesn't seem to bey rhyme or reason as far as I can tell.
Also be ready to steel wool or sand away a a fair bit of neck poly as they tend to lay it thick and sticky for some reason.

I haven't seen a lot of high end stuff go through there, though I don't know for sure. Seems that the pedals move quite well, and the metally stuff. Haven't noticed many boutique amps. You never know though, you might sell it, and hook up with that chick you fancied in 4th form!Conway wrote:No! Don't make me go there...HackSaw wrote:NZG earns a mini-zinger.
