is the Dirty Shirley a head or combo ?Molly wrote:Got it.Bg wrote:Have you got this - sold this yet? just curious.Molly wrote:
Small Box 50 combo. I owned it once before and sold it to opsguy. Just bought it back.
There's a pattern emerging...
Pondering the sale of the Dirty Shirley.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Not usually a fan of maple with black blocks but I have to say that's one classy piece of wood ! How cool do those chrome covers look?! But they are a complete pain in the arse. Can't palm mute or use pick properly and pickup cover is rift in the way for finger style. Well for me anyway !TmcB wrote:AVRI ‘75 Jazz Bass

Couldn’t agree more, on all points.StrummersOfThunder wrote: Not usually a fan of maple with black blocks but I have to say that's one classy piece of wood ! How cool do those chrome covers look?! Not usually a fan of the ol’ electrical tape on the board but the maple + natural + black guard somehow tie it all together.
Chrome covers look sexy as hell with the trade off that it’s damn near impossible to play so they’ll sadly have to come off.
Looking forward to the bound 7.25” radius neck and the 70’s pickup spacing.
