Molly wrote:It's here and what a jolly nice thing it is too! Finish is much better than other recent LPs I've had. None of that blobby, wibbly-wobbly, thick lacquer. Locking Grovers feel super smooth. Plays great. Among the case candy is a picture from the final set-up at Gibson. Nice wee touch I thought.

Pickguard is supplied but not fitted. What do you think; on or off?

Just peeled all the protective film off. Don't think it's ever been played.

Pickguard on. :-)

Was in the mail (eight worrisome days with Mainfreight). Luckily it was bloody well packed.

Anyway, I've gone full Victory fan-boy with this Duchess V40 and 212 Creamback cab. Ooh, it sounds nice I tell ya.

I've often wondered how these guys handle even temperament, chorus pedals, and the pitch changes that happen depending on where in the fret you place your finger.
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

Sat in my favourite cafe which is next door to the Post Shop. After courier dramas I've finally got my hands on the Suhr T.

Light and comfortable with the deep belly cut. Lightning quick based on the wee play I self-consciously had in the corner here. G&G case. All the candy, fret protector thing etc.

Absolutely fuck all getting done today. :-)
