Whilst it's certainly not unlikely that most pieces of gear have been through you at some point, how long ago did you offload it, and to whom?

Hmmm. I'd have to trawl my TradeMe and that could take a while. Think I had it twice. Went to Jim in the interim. Nice amp as it 'appens. KT66s? Think so.Polar Bear wrote:Whilst it's certainly not unlikely that most pieces of gear have been through you at some point, how long ago did you offload it, and to whom?

In this instance, it does so happens that this one has KT66s. It seems very, very unlikely that this one was yours though. On the plus side, that makes it somewhat unique.

Fender 2010 Highway 1 Tele.
Serial number had me scratching my head as there are no letters in the prefix, but from what I can tell, Fender changed their numbering system at the end of 2009 and then promptly changed it again in March 2010. All the neck pocket/heel markings check out though.

My capacitors and a set of speed knobs I forgot I bought turned up yesterday.
Wonder what it’ll be today.

Re: Forums have been slow, how about a 'In the mail' thread?
I had a parcel turn up to work today that I had no clue what was in it. I was all excited for a moment there, but when I grabbed it I realised it was two fridge shelves I ordered 2 months ago and had completely forgotten about - which I assume was delivered by strapping the parcel to a cat and setting him off for an adventure, considering they were sent from Takanini to Takapuna (about a 40min drive on a good day).
The older I get, the more disappointed in myself I become.

Bought last Friday from ebay japan. Got it in me hands now. Love it when things sail thru customs and get delivered promptly
1982 vintage and phantastic condition. Will be painted red soon...
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
