Awesome deal. Dibs if you don't like it.Bg wrote:oh one of these on its way, popped up on trademe for 30 bucks, was seriously thinking of forking out 200 or so a couple of years back for one... This could be a cheap stompbox that actually works lol...
Though I'm guessing its still just a speaker being used as a mic and maybe a tone circuit built in, nailed to a breadboard

Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...

I now have an Orange Rockerverb 50 mk2 coming from auckland, and an Orange PPC212OB cab from the rockshop coming my way. I'm so excited! I wish I had enough spare cash floating around to run through some of the amazing amps you guys get, but this is definitely a massive step in the right direction for me
On a side note, time to figure out how much I can get for a secondhand Vox AC30C2... Haha

Well... my Jazzmaster is NOT in the mail thanks to the sender putting it in an oversized box. Don't quite know what to do next...

You shop are holding it until I can figure out what to do. I'm hoping that they'll repack it.GrantB wrote:Shtink...has it gone back to them? If so, refund?bender wrote:Well... my Jazzmaster is NOT in the mail thanks to the sender putting it in an oversized box. Don't quite know what to do next...

If I read that right Y90,740 is nearly NZ$1200. I paid US$96 plus postage, granted no hardware but I have all that in my parts bin.

Nothing at this rate...Frey wrote:What did you get?bender wrote:Well... my Jazzmaster is NOT in the mail thanks to the sender putting it in an oversized box. Don't quite know what to do next...
I know I know, I go on about them way too much. My life will not be complete until I own a great jazzmaster.
Supposed to be a 60s Lacquer, Surf Green with tort pickguard and mastery bridge. Should be awesome if I manage to get it here. Still waiting to here back from either/both the seller and Youshop to figure out how to proceed. Might have to get it sent to my sister in Hawaii, and then have her send it here if I don't get a satisfactory answer. There go the savings I made be getting an awesome deal (although still should be significantly less than a new one).

He put it in a box that's over 30cm bigger than the case...Frey wrote:Sounds good , those 60's laquer ones look great. Nitro apparently, right? sounds like the business. Too bad about the shipping woes.

Have you thought about asking Youshop about repacking? Seems they offer it as a service, not sure if it has a size limit thobender wrote:He put it in a box that's over 30cm bigger than the case...Frey wrote:Sounds good , those 60's laquer ones look great.
