Oddly I am passively lusting after an LP replica. Do quite like the look of this one...

I'd love to troll TradeMe by listing a Gil Yaron Les Paul at $1 reserve, then pulling the listing five minutes before the end.Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:Oddly I am passively lusting after an LP replica. Do quite like the look of this one...

You'd have to have big kahuna's to put one of those on at a $1Molly wrote:Mini Forklift Ⓥ wrote:I'd love to troll TradeMe by listing a Gil Yaron Les Paul at $1 reserve, then pulling the listing five minutes before the end.

Of course, I don't even have a Les Paul but I'd love to see everybody falling over themselves trying to get a deal on it. Trying to drive the price down by denying it's authenticity or requesting a stupidly low buy now...Molly wrote:Of course, I don't even have a Les Paul but I'd love to see everybody falling over themselves trying to get a deal on it. LOL. Yes. I'm almost tempted to do it. But I won't.Terexgeek wrote:Trying to drive the price down by denying it's authenticity or requesting a stupidly low buy now...Molly wrote:Of course, I don't even have a Les Paul but I'd love to see everybody falling over themselves trying to get a deal on it. I’d be interested to know just how many people know about the Gil Yaron’s, Bartlett’s etc. By many accounts they’re better than the real thing, they can certainly relic a guitar 1000 x more realistically than the Gibson Custom Shop. Have you seen their latest offering? It’s just ridiculous (and hideous). What makes it even worse is when you see the guitar they’ve based it off, it’s so badly done it’s almost laughable.

Boring shit, locking tuners and strap locks, and maybe a handwired AC4 for no practical reason...
