They're damn good amps :) Just make sure you get one of the right year - the floating bias issue is an amp killer, you're looking at scrap value if you get one with that. I know from personal experience. I'd still have another, just I'd be more careful now.

Hi BG! What is the right year?

I probably would if I wanted something NOW, but I'm not in any hurry. So with that in mind I can probably just keep donating when I can into the savings fund and hold onto the VM. I really like it, it's a fantastic head and there doesn't seem to be hundreds of them floating round which is kinda cool.

Plus when I finally get that stadium gig I can pair it with the Plexi

I think so...I'm thinking JM with fauxjo finished Ash body, Gibson style profiled JM neck, hotter than normal JM pickups with a spare P90 wind for the bridge if it remains too thin. And boom - all of those things on order.

And the Fiesta Red Partsquire - watch this space.

Really gassing for this pedal atm! Not sure if it's all hype or a great pedal. Pettyjohn are claiming the discret opamps and audio file components make all the difference.....who knows......

I've always enjoyed having lotsa knobs to play with (JB bat call...) but for some reason this pedal's calling to me.
Also know it's a really simple schematic and I could probably make one myself, but Earthquaker Devices pedal designs are on point...
