Re: What are you gassing for?
Who has tried Mooer pedals?
Instead of spending $200-300 or more on individual pedals, I just put a Mooer Tri Buff, Orange Phaser, and Reecho pedal in my cart at Aliexpress and can have the whole lot here with free shipping for only $211 NZD. I have hesitated, because i do not know what they are like, or perhaps because those nasty old corksniffer wanting flash as pedal board instincts are getting to me.
I wanna know if they are well built and last as good as Boss or MXR etc. Are they noisy?I do not expect them to compete with high end pedals, but I do expect they will sound pretty good, especially for the money. If they sound 95% as good as some high end pedals, then it is a no brainer considering I do not have a lot of spare cash these days. What do you Mooer owners say?

Re: What are you gassing for?
I've had Joyo Ironman fail on me, but never a Mooer yet. I've had my Triangle Buff for 6 months now, all good. You already know what I think of it. I tried a Mooer Reverb once, can't remember which... Shim Verb maybe? Didn't like it one bit...

Re: What are you gassing for?
I like the demo of the Tri-Buff and the Orange 90. They seem to sound pretty good. Not sure about the Reecho yet. $70 incl shipping seems too good to be true for a tape echo pedal. It would need a decent delay chip and convertors to sound good. Hard to do at that price. They do a pedal tuner too. I dunno. Trying free plugins which should cover lots, but for effects to go in front of the Laney i am kind of stuck. So many choices these days. Makes my head spin.codedog wrote:I've had Joyo Ironman fail on me, but never a Mooer yet. I've had my Triangle Buff for 6 months now, all good. You already know what I think of it. We used to have a term for dithering around on gear choices here. Was the name of a member. Can't remember who tho.

Re: What are you gassing for?
Artist guitars have the xvive stuff which is basically the same pedals: https://www.artistguitars.co.nz/shop/am ... edals/2204 and Dave has the Eno stuff which is similar too: http://www.guitarstuff.co.nz/pedals.htmlAquila Rossa wrote:Who has tried Mooer pedals?

Re: What are you gassing for?
Can confirm that eno brand tiny box big muff copy is actually pretty good. Think I paid 50 bucks for it delivered.
Controls were labelled wrong (not that the average person can see them without a magnifying glass) but you wouldn't have known it wasn't a big box muff without looking.

Re: What are you gassing for?
After watching a guy busking the shit out of a resonator in Adelaide today (had a drum pedal thumping his guitar case and a tambourine under his other foot) I'm going to have to get another.

Nope, Sopacharger is Mark, plays in Setting Fire To Stacey, currently rocking AxeFX I think?Aquila Rossa wrote:that was Sopracharger. I think.Single coil wrote:Oh.

Kris is Kris, rocks an inverted cross of Peavey Bandits and grossed us all out with pictures of his hand years back.
Sooty is Cam who runs a music shop in Kapiti.
Ironbird is Jodie from Wanganui, still alive but not posting much.
