You can do a dry plus octave up or down thing, pretty much my favorite setting in down modeBg wrote:yeah but, harmonizer... still...jeremyb wrote:I love mine, so many cool things you can do with it, and no perceivable lag!Bg wrote:

Thinking about one of those new Boss MD-500 units. Haven't heard a decent demo that makes me want to buy it though. Dimension D mode is the only sound that pricks my ears up.

Time to practice when I'm not feeling shagged from 12 hour days.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Re: What are you gassing for?
I have attention deficit with my pedal GAS right now. I get really close to choosing something, but back out and then find some other pedal to obsess on for a few days.
The new Catalinbread Belle Epoch Deluxe interests me a lot. I also like the sound of the Talisman plate reverb pedal and the Topanga spring reverb pedal. Katsenkonig is appealing too. A MkII fuzz with Rat tone stack features. It can do both sounds pretty well. The Zero point flanger pedal is cool too
Keeley Dark Side has a lovely lower gain muff and sweet as phaser in it. I like the Keeley Abbey Road reverb pedal too.
Can't choose between MKII, Fuzzface, and Muff fuzz. Might have to get all three.
Wah. I dunno.
Script Logo Phase 90, although that big fancy Empress phaser is quite amazing. Humble little DOD phaser is nice sounding 2 phase unit. Might end up just getting a Phase 95 tho. Does both two and four phase and has 'script' button that reduces feedback to make it more subtle.
PGS have the reissue MXR red Dyna Comp script version back in stock finally after three years of listing an out of stock products. I think all the country pickers snap them up.
Tempted to hold off spending on pedals and wait for the Two notes Torpedo Captor to be released.
Also need a setup job some on my 245. I usually set up myself just fine, but this one is giving me trouble. Can't get the box wrench tool into the truss rod nut to adjust. I think 9-46 hyrid Slinky may be to skinny for a 24 1/2" scale length.
