Keen to load that oversize, closed-back Zilla cab and pair it with the Katana. Should be cool.

As an aside, laughed at myself for struggling to remove the amp from its case. Two screws hiding under the cardboard insert they put under the handle. All I had to do was move it... Think my brain's taken early retirement.

My insert was long gone when I got it second hand. At times I wish it was still there so I knew what the different coloured LED's meant.

This exactly. I mostly pick with my fingertips. SS amps have no shades of grey.
I agree that Katana’s provide a load of bang for buck

I'm modding my Katana to include an extension cab socket. Nothing wrong with it as is. I just want to hear it through other speakers.
Just modded mine this morning, going to annoy everyone this arvo. Two outputs so I can try two quads at the same time (one has GB's, the other GT-75's) Hopefully the Katana doesn't die in the process.

First output cuts the internal speaker when plugging in external cab.

Think it's a 4 ohm output so I guess that's a safe mismatch with most speaker combinations do you think?

I cant get the bloody amp out of the case. Feels like they also glued it in.
Will it be able to power two cabs?

I have never played through a half stack much less this one.
The curiosity is strong.... :D
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
