This forum sure is a hidden gem.

Looking for an amplifier repair guru (who invoices/legit biz, etc) tube and solid-state amps in the greater Wellington area (travel is no problem).

Used to use Buzz audio before moving back to NZ and it looks like they don't do it anymore.

Bonus if they like taking old Ham radios from the USA and turning them into weird heads.

Found one called Rectified amps, but website is down and facebook is blocked to all non-facebook users it looks like.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Rectified is AAA+++. Highly recommended. Not sure about his penchant for old radio transformations, but he is a master of amplification.

Great to hear. Seems there might be a chance for my VHF Broad Band Amplifier to be something, but will see. Am in contact with him and look forward to getting some amps back into gear.
