Re: Favourite Amp Company?
Old Superlead Marshall takes some beating. Listening to Uli Roth's old Scorpions stuff from the 70s quite a bit today. What a tone and what a player.
I quite like the sound of a Deluxe Reverb and a Tele. Roy Buchanan.
Hiwatt. Gilmour.
Vox. Brian May.
Those reissued Laney Supergroup amps they did for The End tour were beasts. Massive sound
So many nice amps. It all depends on what sound I am into at the time. No room for brand loyalty and fanboyism.

I wonder how many are around in NZ? I think mine was the first one but not sure if anyone else got any after that. Still want a 2nd one at some point.Clanger wrote:Peters

Yeah it would be interesting to know. I think you would be one of very few. The triple channel Pro Series is probably in my top 3 amps I'd love to try/own. Beautifully put together.godgrinder wrote:I wonder how many are around in NZ? I think mine was the first one but not sure if anyone else got any after that. Re: Favourite Amp Company?
Kinda like vox, but I’m not cool enough for single channel.
Jet city was cool.
Fender ... I want to like.
Marshall I also want to like.
Would love to hoon a Jansen bass amp.

Fender! 5E3, twin, bassman, that's a lot of Sonic anarchy right there!!

Divided By 13. Or similar boutique versions (improvements) of Vox and Fender designs - Morgan, Dr Z, Bad Cat...
