Where do you buy your valves?

Feel sure I've asked this before, sorry, but a search didn't find it.

Need a 12AT7 (ECC81) and maybe a couple of 12AX7 (ECC83), plus maybe EL34s.

The only 'ringy' valve I have is the AT7 which is for the amp's loop but it's a few years old now and I thought it might be time to look at replacements. Had no idea how expensive they'd become, mind!

It's for a Mesa but I don't think they need be Mesa branded.

I rate Guy also. A while back he fitted and biased a pair of EL84 TAD’s for about the going rate of just the tubes from Trademe.
Unsure of what other brands he carries, as I’ve ended up with TAD in most of the amps that have been through there, but defo worth hitting up.

Sorry Molly, only got one left. Better keep it.
For an AT7, look out for a 6201 as well. That's the military grade version. Moar ruggederer! :D

I use thetubestore.com for matched Power valves and the occasional preamp valves. Only $12 NZD international shipping for a pair. Plenty to choose from.
