You know what everyone needs? A 100 watt Marshall head, made in UK, all the classic Marshall goodness that shatters your windows and makes your neighbours cry.
Luckily for you, I'm selling one of these very things!

Sorry to spam your thread but any interest in my Orange TH30? Switching takes it down to 15 or 7 watts.

I will admit I went and listened to some youtube demos when you listed it, but to be honest, I tried one back in the day (when I ended up getting the Marshall), and I just didn't gel with it. Sorry!

You can have your cake and eat it if you buy a Rivera Clubster 45 - the best of British & US tones.
Oh, and I just happen to have one.

Re: Getting back in the game
Small wattage and one good sound says ac15 to me, but you've tried that.
Marshall do a dsl15 in a 112 which I've always been curious about, but have no need for.
There's a new fender around - bassbreaker I think. Similar to blues junior (which I've never got along with) so may well work for you.
Wildcard entry: Roland blues cube.
The 60 watt model can be switched to 15 and 5 iirc. I had a great time with it in the shop.

I liked the AC15, so if one came up for the right price I'd probably get it. Still contemplating just buying a new AC10 too.

Just bass, funnily enough. When you're the pastor you just end up filling in the gaps.Bg wrote:what, you aren't playing church?Pastasauce wrote:Cheers, but small wattage, one good sound is more what I'm after.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
