Amp repair in Wellington - Suggestions
Guys any suggestions here? Have a noisey Carr Rambler reverb, that does actually reverb anymore. Tried Rectified Amps, however he's taking a hiatus. Thanks

Damn, I was going to recommend Jaret as well
Looking at this with interest in case I have any issues before Jaret is back on deck

Have you tried just replacing the reverb valve ?
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

This thread will still be relevant to me if I can't sort the volume issues on my Line 6 HD100.

Congratulations, you've taken the next step towards amptechood.Dano_NZ wrote:Hey thanks guys, just did a valve swap (embarrassingly simple) all good again. Cranked it with the wife out shopping. Ears ringing, sounds awesome.

Always had a hankering for building a tube amp and then realise soldering guitars is about my limit. Always feel as though I need 3-4 hands to hold everything together.
