Have a mate with emphysema who loves guitar playing - has mostly been an acoustic player and has the acoustic amp to go with his acoustic guitar.
He has come into possession of a very nice SG and would like a light weight decent amplifier to run it through.
He has been playing through the acoustic amp but does not like the sound.
Any advice out there for a good clean and breaking up amp that won't tire him out too soon when carrying it for around the $350 mark?
Cheers

I'd look for a Laney Cub 10, great little amps!

I've asked what bases tone wise he wants it to cover but he doesn't really know as he's never delved into the electric phase with great gusto.jeremyb wrote:I'd look for a Laney Cub 10, great little amps!
Would the Laney Cub 10 give him decent clean? Or should I look at the 12?
