Great little amp for practising, takes 6 AA batteries, nice and portable and its got a mean retro vibe

Sounds lovely and crunchy, perfect for those AC/DC riffs!

I spot some latches on the side of it... Does it open up like a lunchbox or something?

Indeed it does open up, and apparently you can get a wah wah effect if you get a mate to open and close it while playing - not very practical but hell, we're guitarists

Don't know but it seems pretty loud for a small amp - forget clean sounds though, it doesn't do them unless its on quiet. the pignose is the on/off volume pot. Thats it. Its got a line out so you can use it as a preamp to push a valve amp over the edge, though I haven't tried it yet. might do a soundclip through it later if I get chance

They are only $180 plus p&p to replace...

They are awesome amps. I have sold out and bringing in some more. I miss their sound and just their look.
