The picture is of a trem-o-verb, GREAT amp but made between 1990 and 1994. It ain't 4 years old and it certainly isnt a three channel solo dual rec.
I just posted this question
The picture you have posted looks like a trem-o-verb and they were discontinued way before 4 years ago. The description is of a 3 channel dual rectifier solo head and the picture certainly isnt one of those. What is being sold here?
I have know idea of the finer details of Mesa amps. All I know is Mesa generally = Killer tone.
But if you think he's full of s h i t, have him up about it
I saw him smash that guitar, jumped from the bass drum which was on a riser of coarse. Brought it down with a mighty skinny armed crash. Then just went and got another one to play. Bastard!!!!!!!
I want people to give me guitars to smash.
Good spotting Phil; but you may be simply pointing out idiocy rathet than deceit - how many times have you seen 'just like the photo but x,y.z' then later 'oops sorry I got the photo off the net and I'm just selling for a freind etc.'
Also amazing how one's perception differs etc - just recently there was a bass with admitted donks all over it, replaced pots, dodgy selector switch and one pickup that goes out occasionally 'but in really good condition'
You are misrepresenting this amp for the second time. The picture is of a tremoverb as the auction is titled but the description is of a three channel solo dual rec. Hardly any of the features you describe exist on a tremoverb which is a very good amp. Also it cannot be 6 years old, they stopped making them around 1994. Perhaps you should stick to baby clothes
Educate me Phil - is there a huge amount of difference between the model advertsied and the actual one shown like say between the various AC 30 remakes - I was under the impression that all mesa amps are 1) pretty good 2) jolly expensive and so cannot understand why the seller would bother misrepresenting. Put it another way, give me a choice between a 1995 LP Standard and a 2000 LP Custom and I'll happily take either if the price is right.
I can see from your other listings that you seem to be a dealer. You also make claims that its a real AMPEG. That it has had a pickup added etc etc. You are implying you have knowledge about it. You have a responsibility to correctly represent the guitar, which lets face it, is not cheap. There is a real and copy on Ebay at the moment, take a look. And sorry, but your representations on this guitar are b/s. Don't hide behind what the owner told you. Someone could have got sucked in.
You want how much? Bwwahahaha.... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Music-instrume ... 582459.htm
Good lord some of these guys will be musing "ya know Marlene, I haven't had a single bid on this guitar yet - what you think might the problem? Is photo's a bit dark?" - Heck no buddy, it's just you want an arm and a leg for a piece of shirt...lots and lots of expensive rubbish on TM right now...

Oh yeah - Philipnz - I don't condone peaople commenting on auctions about price and stuff, but good on ya for pointing this out to potential buyers - it certainly is not a Dan Armstrong guitar, and this seller certainly knows that. Price aside, one should always advertise accurately - it's illegal to do otherwise.
