Functionally the P bass is 95% ,as good as an american standard. I got it cheap and set it up and changed the pickup. Shouldn't have sold the american standard even though I made a profit on it. Good luck finding a mint am std for 1200. One of those ridiculous buy now deals, I actually scored it for 450 and vince picked it up for me. SIgh... I hate being poor and selling stuff I'd rather keep.
