That is a conversation I had a number of years ago with a transport engineer during a project I was working on.

I then lost 2 of the 4 Cisco SFPs I was tasked with looking after, not long after I'd had said conversation. Thankfully that little chat lead to me looking really, really hard for them and finding them moments before I was going to have to explain to the project manager I'd somehow misplaced $1400 worth of SFPs.
