Hey guys, this band in Wellington had some of their gear stolen just the other day.
-Black 50 watt Holden amp with a tremolo
-Black AER 60 amp
-Peavey speaker cabinet
-1980 ES-175 Gibson
-Microphone 58
-Miscellaneous assortment of leads
Here's a link to their blog:

Can't imagine there are a huge number of ES-175s floating around NZ, so keep an eye out for it.

Sorry to hear about this. Eye's peeled, at least for the Gibson....

Re: Stolen Gibson ES-175 and other equipment
That's sad news, but they're not doing much to help themselves. The pictures of the stolen guitar appear to be a 175 and a 125(?). No serial numbers mentioned.
However by stamping 'second' on the headstock, Gibson appears to have had a rare moment of honest appraisal. I remember an interview with Slash who claimed his favourite Les Paul was one stamped second that he rescued from the factory.
Maybe this is a hot Gibson collectors tip.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
