My Band's Demo

Post by Vince »

I sometimes (!) mention that I am in a band called The Sound Of Traffic. It's a rather unusual band, I suppose.

Anyway, we finally got a demo sorted today and here are the four tracks. For some reason, the embedding works no more so am posting the link.

"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.
"And isn't that the finest acoustic bass guitar feedback solo you've ever heard?" - Billy Moose.

Whenever I hear something new, I always end up making a comparison to something I already know. The opening of Scooter made me think of Violent Femmes first up, but overall the vibe I got was more like The Doors. That's really interesting stuff man. 8)

Ta! :) the last song is supposed to be like, they always have it on British tv shows. There's something like an angel getting shot down and tumbling down to earth in slow motion. And there's always THAT music.
I described it to Cordelia and she's like, "You mean the one Greek lady?"
"Yeah, that"
And she came up with the vocal on the spot. :D
