I could leave it hangin' in a greenhouse type thing for a full summer. That'd do the trick.
A geezer like you does not have his own tanning bed??? Surely not...
Naaa. I don't think rural NZ cares much for personal grooming.

Urban NZ doesn't give much of a shit about personal grooming for that matter. I miss the London tailoring.

Did some work on the Strat today. Wired it up and did a first assembly.

Swear by these surgical clamps for holding stuff whilst you solder.

Don't like the colour but impatient to hear it.

Put a blender in it. Sounds great. Can't recall the pickups but they're some US hand-wired, extra cork-sniffy jobbies.

are you liking the pickups? BTW they're Vintage Vibe ones - I always forget the name too - and have to search through old emails to find it :-)

They sound right nice, ta!

Guitar weighs 7.75lbs which is good. Still need to buy a trem. The one in the pic is borrowed from my other Strat just so I could check the spacing and see if it'd need a closer spaced Callaham. Fortunately, regular spacing is fine which opens up other options like Kluson or Fender.

Love the neck.

Cool - I'm always nervous selling you stuff, because you've had so much great gear, i'm worried it won't live up to your expectations :-)

Naaa. This one's a keeper an' that... ;-)

Just turned the Two Rock up nice and loud. Just for a mo. Sounds spiffing. Why can't we play loud all the time?

So far I've $1,350 in it which is spendy for a partscaster but the CS neck wasn't cheap. Still got the trem to pay for.

Surely Christchurch has some kind of hydroponics supply store you could get a Uv lamp from?
Colour's not that bad though. All looks damn fine to me but as you know I'm more about ears than eyes when it comes to gats.

LOL. I did get them via Mrs Molly but many years ago. It would've been legitimate means. My Mrs is too honest for her own good.
