Tape is all off and scrapping has commenced in earnest...

well done!
I haven't been brave enough yet. Most of my builds have radiused edges...and a couple a have faux binding with a different colour wood layer. I really need to try this.

You could do it easily. It's all down to the quality of the routing and thankfully Grant (lostininverness) did mine and did a great job.

You don't happen to have a spare bit of binding 3-4 inches long, do you? I seem to have lost a bit off my trusty Rickenbacker . . . looks a bit rough with out it

Looking good.

Once you get into the groove with binding it's not so bad. It becomes less fun though when you have to make your own layered binding because the factory original 5 ply is no longer available.

Interesting you're using a large scraper - I found a good ole Stanley paint scraper blade worked best for me. Cheap to keep replacing too.

Cheers! I'm actually using a long stanley knife blade, the kind with the snapable sections. It's a good length and its not too deep so you can get around tight corners. Keen on trying 2 ply binding next. I've got a cedar body blank that'll be the next project.
