Off-whiting my tone controls (pics)

Had some blindingly white volume/tone controls that I decided that I'd try to age and relic to put onto my relic'd Strat (they were considerably whiter than the pickup that you can see in the photos). Here's how they look now thanks to some careful coffee and mud application...

They look suitably hygenic.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Was just telling Jim via text, I once tried this and inadvertently threw the bloody lot in the bin... It was from my CS '69 Strat too... I put them in some stain of some sort then took them out and put them on a bit of newspaper to dry. Somehow they got swept up in a garage tidy and thrown out... Duh.

My youngest sister learned that trick young. She'd hang around home and pick off my mates at her leisure. Maximum result, minimum effort.
Worked well too; she's still married to my best mate
