For some unknown reason I started another 1x12 cab build, and a ported/detuned one at that!

Amp tinkerers and people who aren't afraid of 700 volts or so in here....

That sounds excellent - nice job! Do you think the mods you have done so far have been worth it (bit of cross-posting going on).

The only mods I’ve had done so far are the Master Volume and 3 way NFB switch. Master volume works well and is very useful to me, the NFB switch is not that great.
I always use the standard setting, the others just tame it to much for me.

If you have a look at an actual Jackson Ampworks 1x12 they do the same, probably nothing more than atheistics
But I thought I’d try and do it the same.
Might bring it depending on what state of completion it’s in.

Today’s update, vinyl is harder to work with than tolex!
Still might put silver corners on to cover my sins, time will tell.
Gonna try and find some white or cream tolex for the grill surround and then the back and I’m almost done!

Nice work there. Are you going to paint the inside black?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Thats a good job though, you're right it is hard to get perfect. But it isn't unobtainium.... Until someone takes up the mantle of mojotone importer, then the shipping is always going to be shit.

I've done a few cabs in that stuff, it gets easier.
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
