Caps of choice for signal path upgrade..
Hey guys. For those of you who have upgraded caps in yer amp circuits, what type have you found to be ya favourite and why? Im looking at Mallory 150 or Orange Drop at the moment. Any others I should look into?

I like Mallory's they are good value for money.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Can't beat NOS mustards for the signal path in Marshalls (or even as a replacement in fenders). The Blue Astrons can be replaced by Sozos. Sprague orange drops are pretty robust for just about anything. Beware of melting the Mallorys accidentally with your soldering iron.
