1x12 Cab build

Post by Reg18 »

My second ever cab build, almost finished.
Learnt a lot from my first build which meant this build is better than my first. Still not Seamless on the corners and especially going around the corners on the open back (tolex is harder to do than it looks)
Im now considering building a head cab for my 5E3 so it matches and get some more practice at this whole thing.

Someone here posted a really helpful youtube clip where they had some good tips such as using a heat gun to help mold the tolex around corners.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
