Sort of happy with the build, Fawn tolex isn't a perfect match which is a bummer and the Grill cloth obviously not the Vox Diamond Grill cloth, but hey......when ya broke you do what you can afford. Still heaps cheaper than buying a 2x12!!

How much did the cab build end up setting you back?

Actually that's prob not accurate, already had plywood lying around as well as casters. So if I take all of that into account probably closer to $200

Cheers for the comments guys, overall I'm pretty happy with it just a shame about the tolex colour being slightly off...(these small things bug me sometimes)
It sounds good! Which is the main thing I guess and that's only loaded with 1 speaker so should be even bigger sounding when I get 2 dropped in. Looks like I have done a deal on a couple of English Greenbacks which should be a good match for this amp.
The amp sounds good even at lower volumes with the MV engaged which is a relief for me, admittedly not nearly as good as without the MV engaged at gig levels but 90% of the time I won't get to enjoy it at those db levels.
