A hot rod pinstriper could do this easily.AiRdAd wrote:It would be a bit of a mission, but totally doable. Maybe not worth the effort though. How about using car pinstripes?

Ok, found this tamiya pinstriping tape stuff. So used that to mask and some touch up paint. Just need some brush script letraset and its complete....

Re: Smelly old 57 Supro...
awesome transformation
There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

It actually doesn't matter what it sounds like at this point, the looks will distract! Jack White would play that in a heartbeat.

It does actually sound the part too neck pup is a lot less muffled since I remade a few of the joints, but yeah its floating my boat big time. If it had bigger frets it would be perfect But the chunky neck is awesome and the action is pretty low too - it won't go any lower without hitting the bridge pickup - not height adjustable lol

The only way to go, that patina is beautiful, shows it didn't live under someones bed but was a player. The refin was the way to go though, that white is the bizz.Bg wrote:Cheers Laurie, I've gone for roadworn rather than pristinek1w1 wrote:Oooooh that looks great

yeah at some stage I'll do it properly with Nitro, but I really just wanted to get her up and running and playing Two position switch, you can jam in between like the old strat 3 pos Am recording some stuff to show her off, but may be awhile, trying to remember how to play the bloody tune
