Nice! Like those ES125's in terms of pickup position. A good place actually to cover lots of ground.

Ben, the mute "would" work if there was any felt left on the base!

When this 1943 Cremona archtop arrived it absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke (stank even to this ex smoker). It took a month of being relegated to the laundry to become acceptable. Now it smells of musty old mahogany.

Yep, in fact I have the replacement felt somewhere. It's a strange mechanism....would have added quite a bit of cost to the manufacture.

who has a 125? I've always wanted to try one - I love old gibson necks, full hollow guitars and P90's, reckon a dual pickup ES125 would just about be perfect for me

1962 Gibson LG0. All mahogany, ladder braced, quirky funny little guitar, but it has a great tone and I really like the neck too. Need to get it to a luthier to get the intonation and a dodgy fret sorted

Speaking of smelly old guitars - what would the market value be for a 1960s hofner hollowbody?

Don't have one, asking for someone who wants one.

Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
