One option is to consider holding it at a bar, a bit like the Ork Fest. Start at 11am, be done by 5pm. Food and booze and non-booze catered for. I thought it worked well at The Bollix.

I actually started automatically scrolling down a list of bars/venues in my head when I read the OP. Coupley ideas.
