EDIT: Venue details.
THIS SATURDAY FOLKS
Directions to the venue,
Easiest plan is to take the Nth Western motorway to the Lincoln Rd Turn off and simply travel all the way to the end of Lincoln Rd until you reach the intersection where it meets Great North Road (to the left) and Swanson Rd (to the right).
Map link: http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?client=sa ... CHkQ_BIwAA
Cross the intersection into Mt Lebanon Ln then follow the lane to the entrance of the Estate grounds then take the road to the left (see diagram) until you reach the Cellar.
There's good parking around the Cellar entrance but the Cellar room itself is down a flight of stairs so if you wish, you can continue around to the lower grounds at the back of the main homestead/gallery building. There is a whole lot more parking around there and you'll see, as marked on the map, a sign to the toilets. Just near the toilets is a doorway which leads to the theatre space.
I suggest parking and coming in to scope the space out and decide which way you'd like to bring your gear in before loading it in.
If you're unsure or lost, give me a text on 021 567 063.
The whole estate is a pretty cool area. The gallery is good and the buildings are pretty historic. There is a good little coffe shop along from the Cellar now. If it's a nice day, the grounds are good for a walk around if you need a break.

Re: AK Gearfest Dates. Pick one... UPDATED POLL
Another wild and wet day by the looks of it.
I can only be there from 2 - 3:30 because of a prior family commitment so I'll only be bringing a little bit of gear. Are there any requests from the leaving at home pile?
Bringing:
AC4HW
Gibson LP Special Doublecut
Robin Avalon Classic (my unGibson LP).
Leaving at home:
Robin Savoy Classic (335 meets LP meets thinline- has BKP P90s)
Radian Feathercaster (the lightest tele ever)
Walden Concorda acoustic
Wolverton Amps (Ryan) Rhinolux (Tremolux meets 5E3)
Pedalboard with Chi-Wah-Wah, Polytune Mini and DLS Mk1.
EDIT- fixed to make Ed's comment make no sense.

Do we get to take home what you leave behind?
If I can get all my shit sorted, I'll be bringing:
Gibson LP Classic w/Fishman bridge
At least one Peavey Wolfgang, probably the black one
Ash Custom Kelly since most of you in Akl haven't played that one in person
Marshall AFD100
Line 6 DT25
Blackstar Artisan 2x12" cab
Probably try to bring some effects, got the bunch of little Mooers and a Golden Cello at the moment.
