Don't really care, just wondering if someone will have one I can have a blat on to see what it's like.

I've sometimes wanted an octaver, but thinking about it, some sort of harmoniser seems to be a more versatile choice.
"Vince, have you ever tried playing an expensive bass?" - Polarbear.
"And isn't that the finest acoustic bass guitar feedback solo you've ever heard?" - Billy Moose.

Of course, midnight on a Wednesday would suit me best of all.
Haha true to form, I may not be able to make it if it's on Sunday. Sunday arvo I am flying out to Huntly Power Station for a week for work...
Riffles!!
You and Hamo are a right pair, aren't cha! :D :D

I was working for NGC and visited Huntly a few times during construction. We reckoned we'd have to put a couple of sticks in the ground and line up the workers to see if anyone moved between smokos. They were lazy, lazy little construction workers, so they were! If I don't get to meet you this w/e, have a great time up country next week. :P

Money tree is a bit withered, so can't afford :-/ (Six hour round trip... a palmy gearfest would be fun, though. Only a 2 hour round trip.)

:( :( :o :? :?

Ok so the predictions don't look good.

Here's the thing. I can get a venue pretty much whenever I need it. I'm not averse to driving in and carrying gear and setting up just to chat to 1person......but a crowd (even a small one) would make this much more fun.

So put a stake in the ground tonight for confirmation tomorrow night.

Go ahead on Sunday as already stated, or propose a new date further out and get a bigger group...?????

I have myself booked for the gearfest for 1pm and I intend to be there (with my new Jazzie and a couple of my home-brew amps in tow), unless it is canned, in which case I'd appreciate knowing by about 12:30pm at the very latest on Sunday.

I love driving through Huntly, it's almost as nice as Ngaruawahia. But Huntly has the DEKA sign...win win.

Sorry guys, I can't make it Sunday. Work and all that. Catch you at the next one. Lads, since I won't be there, do me a favour - Give Robnob a good talking to, make sure he doesn't sell his Mark III.

Cheers mate. I'm having regrets about it already and I haven't sold it yet! Any luck with your Lowden headstock fix?
