Thanks Mike, it's a generous offer - but alas, I fear my spasticness would only drive you mad.

See, I have this inability to learn how to use any kind of music software....it's like I have a gene missing, I can ride a bike, windsurf, finger knit, even change my undies...but when it comes to music software...nothing...nada...a void.

I'm totally computer savvy too...which is one of the most annoying bits.

What if I wrote out a step by step list of what you do to record a part for one of these jams (including mouse clicks etc)?

Would that approach help?

Have you used a four track or other tape recorder to record yourself? It might be a way to decide on software that you are more likely to get on with.

Am going to try this out. I have an old Zoom I can use to get a signal in...will sound poo but at least it's a start. Then I guess I need to use my desk to record my amp properly, line out into my Galaxy Note and record to this. Piece o' piss
