Nice rendition.

I've only heard Aerosmith's up tempo blues rocker.

This is pretty cool.

I like it.

Can't believe people knowing the Aerosmith version without having heard the Stones' one on Sticky Fingers though.

Must be a "how time passes" type thing. :(

pfft hate to sniff corks but if you're not using a vintage (40+ years) chair then your recording won't have that warmth and original vibe to it. I can tell there's a real lack of mid-range clarity due to this issue.
I haven't actually listened to the track but i'm guessing it's an issue, looks like mono to me anyway

Nah, sorry. If it's not recorded out on the porch, it doesn't count.

Like it. Good voice there too, eh?

Any footstomping rhythm like that will always remind me of seeing Chris Whitley live in some little club in London about 10 years ago - and it was just him with a guitar and stomping on something... basically just a mic it sounded like... as I was leaning on a sub at stage right it was like a thump in the chest and all these great guitar lines. So good.

I always loved Big Sky Country and have some of his later stuff - but loved the rawness of it.
Larrivee 00 Acoustic. FAV Strat for electric. Ibanez SDGR5 for bass. Push for Ableton. When not doing that, 3D CAD for tunnels...
