BC, pick flutter=fast tapping with the edge of your pick. I Satch calls it that too.

Try it, it's harder to get the notes to sound out and stop the background string noise, not to mention the single cut.
I used to do it on a JS no probs, but when I changed to LPs, it took ages to relearn how to do them.

I couldn't play that again, I don't even know what scales I used. I was just improvising/warming up and not paying much attention to the beat. Fun though.

I've thrown mine into the 7th position... (see what i did there) So there's a gap for 4, 5, 6 and 8 still. It's fun pretending to play metal.
