Yamaha Transacoustic

Post by rickenbackerkid »

I tried one of these out yesterday.

It's a nice acoustic, with some kind of device inside that uses the guitar as a speaker to produce reverb and chorus. Like acoustic reverb and chorus, that comes out the sound hole, as well as the output jack.

It was a crazy cool thing and the reverb seemed to respond to how you play the guitar. Anyway, very cool, very practical, and if you are in the market for a 2k acoustic, absolutely check them out.\

That's kinda neat, like a simpler builtin version of Tonewood Amp.

I tried to play these in stores recently over here but none of them had batteries in them. Obviously no one got told what the intended selling point was!

Haha, yeah well that's not ideal at all. Aparently they use AA batteries, not 9 volt, which is a nice touch as 9 volt batteries are pretty expensive.
