Ash body, Rosewood fretboard.
I've always preferred Rosewood/Alder in my head but my Ash bodied Strat sounds superb.
Maybe the 59 is the Strat I have been looking for?
But I can't build it 60 years ago.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Awesome. I’d just assume Jimi was the lefty that put the hole in the lower horn...
They keep telling me tone is in the fingers, but I have yet to see a "look at my fingers" thread.

I`ve never seen a neck date in real life, lots on the internet tho.
oh wait maybe once.
anyway, super nice guitar!

There are still some that think the neck PU is moved to accommodate the extra frets which only proves they cannot detect the difference in length of each.

Very cool. Is there a story to go with it?.... "Was owned by a Texas bluesman who did clubs with it for 60 years..."

This kind of description won't do if you want to keep prices obscene for old guitars!!!!Jim.h wrote:Thanks mate!RobRoyMcCoy wrote:Congrats Jim. How does it sound?
