G.O.T. meets Fender
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I saw the start of it in my hotel room in San Francisco, actually on HBO. Unfortunately I was too knackered, fell asleep, and woke up just in time to see the last 5 to 10 mins! Feck!!foal30 wrote:I was wrong

This is a fashionable perspective. I don’t understand it. Before we all decide it’s not worth caring about, could you explain the farce to me?foal30 wrote:The series petered out into a farce

It’s TV. The whole series is like that compared to the books.jimi wrote:because this:

what I posted above... the books are a great read about politics, relationships, ambition etc. The TV show was too while they were following the books.Slowy wrote:This is a fashionable perspective. Then they ran out of books, and the writers have movies to make, so they're a bit over it... script writing for the last 2 seasons seemed to pretty much be "right, what do we need to do to finish this thing up?"
Its supposed to be a big world, that takes weeks to cross, but in S7, they seemed to invent teleport to get their timelines to fit together, and S8 was just ticking boxes to get it finished.
