Has anyone come up with relic'd amps yet? If not, I'm claiming dibs on that idea. For $200 I'd happily take a box cutter and belt sander to anyone's tolex and for $50 more I'll cover your chassis in seawater to get a nice rusty patina happening... ciggie burns and stickers from bands you may never have heard of can be added at no extra cost.

Ha! No. This one was done about 9 years ago. I think I dragged it behind a hi-lux.

I have no problem with relicing, too each their own. My favourite looking strat is the rory sig :)

Relicing done bad is like anything done bad.

As people here from the start can confirm, my urine is by far the best relicing substance known to man :)

I do like a well worn guitar, but its more that I'm suspicious of shiny new looking ones. I figure if its an old guitar and its mint, its probably shite to play.

Mine is the opposite - it restores youth. Small bottles are availabe for $100. Pleasant vinegar aftertaste.
